    Multiplication worksheets: questions from parents

Which times table should my child start with?

Start with the 10s, 2s and 5s, because they follow easy patterns. Then move to the 3s, 4s and 11s, and leave the 6s, 7s, 8s, 9s and 12s until last. That is the order the Cambridge Primary curriculum builds up to by Stage 4.

How many worksheets a week is enough?

Two or three short sheets a week, each taking ten minutes or less, work better than one long session. Use a sheet to check accuracy, then use the game for speed on the other days.

    Do the worksheets have answers?

Yes. Press "Show answers" and print again for an answer key. Each press of "New numbers" makes a different sheet, so the key always matches the sheet on the screen.
