    Division worksheets: questions from parents

When should children start division facts?

Once a times table is secure. If your child knows 8 × 7 = 56, they already know 56 ÷ 8 and 56 ÷ 7, so practise division table by table, straight after multiplication.

    Are there remainders?

No. These sheets use exact division facts only. Remainders come later in Stage 4 and have their own lessons on the channel.
